Conversion rate optimisation · included in the packages

Getting visitors,
but few enquiries?

Conversion rate optimisation, CRO, is the work of getting more of the people who already visit your website to get in touch or buy. We don't guess: we look at how visitors actually use the site, form hypotheses, test, and keep what works. It is included in all our website and SEO packages.

The maths

Double the traffic and you double the cost. Lift the conversion rate and you get more out of the same traffic.

An example, not a promise. The point is that conversion is the one factor in the equation that does not cost traffic.

The method

Data, hypotheses, tests, learning.

  1. Analysis

We see where visitors drop off, using GA4, heatmaps and session recordings. Which pages get traffic without generating enquiries?

  2. Hypotheses

Concrete assumptions about what is holding back conversion, prioritised by expected impact and how easy they are to test.

  3. Testing

A/B tests with a clear start, end and statistical significance, so we know an uplift is real. First tests within 2 to 3 weeks.

  4. Learning

Winners are implemented permanently, losers are discarded. Monthly report: what we tested, what won, what we test next.

What we look at

Different for an online store and a service business.

Service business

Making it easy and safe to get in touch: a clear offer, less friction in forms, stronger arguments for why it should be you, and visible answers to what customers wonder about before they send.

Online store

Reducing checkout abandonment, making product pages clearer, simplifying payment and lifting the average order value. Checkout abandonment above 70 per cent is common, and small improvements there have a direct effect.

What we measure

Enquiries, orders and order value, in kroner where possible. Not “engagement” or time on page alone; they rarely go hand in hand with revenue.

Included

Part of the work, not an add-on.

Conversion rate optimisation is included in all our website and SEO packages. We believe it belongs in the core delivery: the same team that brings in the traffic makes sure it converts.

Questions and answers

Questions about conversion rate optimisation.

What does CRO cost?

Conversion rate optimisation (CRO) is included free of charge in all our website and SEO packages. You pay no separate price for the CRO work.

How much traffic do I need for CRO to be worth it?

As a rule of thumb, we recommend at least 1 000–2 000 unique visitors per month on the pages we test. Lower volume makes it hard to reach statistical significance, but we can still make qualitative improvements.

How soon will I see results?

The first tests run within 2–3 weeks of the start. Most clients see a real conversion lift within 2–4 months, after a couple of test rounds.

What is the difference between CRO and SEO?

SEO brings in the traffic. CRO makes sure the traffic converts into leads and sales. Most clients run both services in parallel to get the most out of your investment.

What is a good conversion rate?

It depends on the industry and page type, but some reference points: online stores are typically at 1–3 per cent, while service businesses with a good landing page can reach 5–10 per cent on form submissions. What matters most is not the industry average, but whether your own rate goes up over time. We always measure against your own baseline, not against a figure from a report.

Which tools do you use?

We use industry-standard tools such as GA4, Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity, as well as our own A/B testing tools. You own all the data yourself.
